hav trading system

The problem with that assessment is, dismantling isn't all you can do with incompatible armor, a player can actually trade weapons and armor between their Guardians using the Vault in The City. I strongly believe they will When tradingwas brought up before destinys release they seemed dumbfounded at the prospect, like it was some crazy foreign idea they had never heard of before. Frinds will just give away stuff to ther frinds and just make the game to easy for tham. I believe that they will stay away form that or make it so you cant just give it away. Is Bungie even aware of all the complaints about the loot system and suggests for how to fix it? Because that trading solve a lot of these kinds of concerns. I don't think trading fits into Bungie's plans for Destiny, which is another reason why Destiny isn't an MMO. How would trading not fit in with their plans for the game? Denying the idea of trading comes off as fanboyishly defending the games faults in all honesty I haven't even played the game beyond the first five story missions and some limited exploration on Earth over an afternoon during the beta, so I am not in anyway a fanboy. Initially, Bungie didn't want players to tradebut it seems there are rumors around that says we will soon be able to. Really, trading is only needed for two things: However, if that's fixed random lootthen there will really be no need for trading, and you can truly tell your friends that you earned it like a badass, like Bungie wanted. They want you to feel like the gear is yourssomething you earned, not just bought from another player. In most cases, it is, and that's the problem with random loot, you don't feel like how Bungie wanted you to: I think I have a decent plan to fix many of the loot issues. The higher the level of the enemy, the greater the likelihood of rarer loot drops. Bosses should always drop loot based on the difficulty of mission, in addition to the carnage report rewards. The best players in both PvE and PvP should always get something in the carnage report, based on their excellent performance. Engrams shouldn't be able to be decrypted into something of lower rarity than the engram itself, though the chance of a higher rarity item seems like a refreshing change of pace over most loot-based games and something truly unique. A Gun given to you by a trusted friend is just as interesting as earning one. However, I dont think we should be able to trade glimmer because that would cause a blusterflup of people selling exotics. Bungie should decide between: The way it is now is frustrating, to say the least. Well, if Bungie at least increases hav likelihood of obtaining class specific armor, since there isn't and shouldn't really be a guarantee in being able to acquire a specific exotic let alone a legendary, and implements my suggestions, I really don't see why Destiny trading work as intended. Yes, but trading between players goes against Bungie's vision for the game. Outright's link, this Forbes articleand the anonymous contributor's post that followed, trading you dismissed, answered those questions. Please, call me Outright. Undead is my father. Every MMO revolves around a particular activity that is the way you system your character. For most MMOs, it's XP and leveling up, so trading items and gear doesn't really affect the gameplay at all since you still have to invest just as much in the main activity. Trading large amounts of XP system. This is why although MMOs like World of Warcraft have in-game auction houses, they ban account trading in the Terms of Use. Destiny is the opposite. The way you build your character is not as much by gaining XP as it is by obtaining and upgrading high-end gear. So if you could buy or trade for better gear without completing any of the more difficult activities, the entire point of playing would be lost. Bungie trading item trading for the same reason Blizzard disallows account trading: The only difference is that Blizzard can't feasibly prevent unsanctioned transfers. The thing about the current setup is, old and unusable gear can be either materials to upgrade useful gear or gear for another Guardian. All of a player's Guardians have access to the hav Vault, allowing for the transfer of gear and materials between Guardians. A friend told me in January there will be an update which will allow you to trade, but I'm not sure if it is real. He also said that same update will have 2 New planets. Bungie is very insistent on the "no trading" policy. Although a trade system would be nice, I don't think it's an absolute must. And from what I've noticed, the only time I trading under-leveled equipment system when I replay an old story for a bounty. You should be able to tell a badass story for every sweet jewel in your arsenal. Once you earn them, the various Guardians under your account will be able to trade them, but weapons belong to the players who acquire them through action and bravery. I've had a bit of an about face when it comes to this topic. I deleted one of my characters to start a new one with her Well we're now at lvl 24 her and 25 me and we've noticed some serious inconsistencies when it comes to random drops of the rarer read legendary loot. My character has so far had 5 legendary random drops heck one came from one of the vandals near the spawn of Patrol Cosmodrome and a one or two as rewards for the lvl 24 strike and weekly heroic strikes. She has had ZERO. When another friend joined us for 3 person fireteam goodness, same thing happened. We each ended up with legendary drops and she has had none. It's to the point where it's really starting to cast a very dim shadow on her Destiny playing experience. Since my characters don't really need the loot and she does, I think having system ability to gift her a piece of equipment would be very beneficial. Thats an understandable position to be in, and many people probably are in that situation in some form or another, but trading would most likely be an unbalanced answer. People have enough complaints about the loot system, and if anything the way or amount of items are dropped should be changed. Hav trading system would lead to a poor experience with the game due to leveling up and then reciveing all or a portion of the gear you could work for system free. The trading system could even be exploited as a money making system with people buying and selling items with real currency, especially since people already tried to do that with Atheon checkpoints in the VoG raid. You make some good points KingFish! So once I hit 20 with the new one it was like an instant promotion to level Almost felt like I was cheating I'd imagine trading would be quite similar. Bungie sucks at making games. They can't even fix what is broken and they say they fix it but they make it worse so just imagine how shitty the trade system would be. I hate how unbalanced the loot drops are. I felt cheated, especially when some punk kid got TWO weapons from the templar. I can play on the new Roc Strike hav for an hour and leave with 2 blue engrams woo It gives everyone the same chance of obtaining the item and if someone doesn't want the item they would have the ability to "pass" on it. Worked fine in FF and I can't see any obvious reasons why it wouldn't work hav Destiny. Please show me anything, ANYTHING from bungie that states that. Now trading guns would be good, but the people would only put up exotic guns and just trade for other exotic guns, it's could be worth it if people would do a longer range of quality weapons and putting them hav trade, which would be nice, it would make it easier for everybody. Destiny is a lose based game if everyone got loot drops that they wanted then it wouldn't be cool. If they had it so when you got an exotic from a loot drop and they gave you a choice of three and you could only pick one would be really cool like exotic weapon engram. Ps I will probably not look at this page agen. An for trading same Ranked wepens trading lengendary for 1 legendary same for everything else. If that were the case, then that would still be possible with the online Vault transfer system on Bungie. It doesn't happen because character data isn't stored in a local file, but system the Destiny servers. Since Destiny's servers keep track of items, it's impossible for an item to be duplicated by manipulating the console. That would be like saying you can delete a file from the internet by system your web browser as you're downloading it. FANDOM Skip to Content Skip to Wiki Navigation Skip to Site Navigation. I thinkone thing weshould all at least agree on is no I freaking hate gold sellers Bungie already denied allowing trading, case closed. Legit DOG EYES wrote: Yeah I dont care, I dont want to throw away all my old and unsuable gear: Technically, it is; trading between your own characters, that is. Who cares if there overpowered! Well here's hoping they get the loot drops tweaked a bit better! Why can't they just restrict it to only items and only allow one per week per character? I would keep as a TRADING SYSTEM rather than a give away system. I agree I was playing roc strikes and very little comes out of it. Let me now observe, that your appearing equipt in military armour, as soldiers prepared for war, naturally leads to reflections on the pernicious influence of those corrupt lusts of human nature, from whence come wars.
